Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has established policies and procedures designed to promote and protect the independence, objectivity and rigor of its credit rating process. The following Code of Conduct updates Section 1.15 and replaces the Code of Conduct dated October 2005. This updated Code of Conduct tracks both the format and language of the Code of Conduct Fundamentals for Credit Rating Agencies published by the International Organization of Securities Commissions in December 2004.
