Servicer Evaluations

A dedicated team of analysts assesses a wide range of a servicer's business practices. It does this through on-site meetings and analyses of company materials and data, summarizing in a report its findings and recommendations.

Features
The Servicer Evaluations team is comprised of experienced industry analysts. They assess servicers’ business practices and processes by performing a broad review conducted through on-site meetings, and by analyzing servicers’ submissions of various supporting materials and data, including a detailed data file and questionnaire, called the Servicer Evaluations Analytical Methodology (“SEAM”).

The areas reviewed as part of a Servicer Evaluation include:

Management and Organization
Internal Controls
Historical Portfolio Performance
Cash Management
Organizational Efficiency
Loan Asset/Administration
