Algonquin Power Income Fund is an Ontario-based independent power generator. Its generation portfolio is diversified geographically by fuel type and by the number of plants and offtakers. The fund's generation interest includes 143 MW of hydroelectric facilities, 46 MW of energy-from-waste and landfill gas-fired facilities, and 109.5 MW of natural gas-fired cogeneration facilities. Algonquin Power also owns and operates 15 small regulated water distribution and water reclamation facilities in the U.S.
