Standard & Poor's CUSIP Service Bureau assigns a nine-character CUSIP number to each mortgage-backed pool issued by the following federal agencies: Government National Mortgage Association (GNMA), Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FMAC), Small Business Administration (SBA), Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (Farmer Mac).

CD-ROM Service -- If you already subscribe to the CUSIP CD-ROM, you can access all mortgage backed CUSIP Pool Numbers at no extra charge.
Frequency -- The CUSIP database is updated as numbers are requested by the agencies.
