S&P/TSX Equal Weight Global Base Metals CAD Hedged Index is the equal-weighted and Canadian Dollar hedged version of the S&P/TSX Global Base Metals Index, a benchmark of securities involved in the production or extraction of base metals, and a subset of the S&P/TSX Global Mining Index.

The S&P/TSX Equal Weight Global Base Metals CAD Hedged Index has the same constituents as its underlying capitalization-weighted index, but each company in the equally-weighted version is allocated an equal weight at each semiannual rebalancing.

Index Governance and Policy
This index is maintained by the S&P/TSX Canadian Index Committee according to a set of published guidelines. Comprised of four members from Standard & Poor’s and three from the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
