NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Feb. 9, 2009--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services
said today that it assigned its 'AAAm' principal stability fund rating to the
JPMorgan Liquidity Funds - US Dollar Government Liquidity Fund.
The investment manager for the fund is JPMorgan Investment Management Inc.
, and JPMorgan Bank Luxembourg S.A. is the fund's custodian and administrator.
The transfer Agent is JPMorgan Asset Management (Europe) S.à r.l. This fund is
a Luxembourg domiciled clone of the 'AAAm' rated JP Morgan US Government Money
Market Fund and is one of eight 'AAAm' rated money market funds JP Morgan
manages in the U.S.
The JPMorgan Liquidity Funds - US Dollar Government Liquidity Fund's
investment objective is to achieve a level of total return in U.S. dollars
consistent with the preservation of capital and a high degree of liquidity.
The fund invests in short-term, dollar-denominated, fixed- and floating-rate
debt securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government or by U.S.
government agencies, and for efficient management purposes, repurchase
agreements with highly rated counterparties. Such repurchase agreements will
be fully collateralized by dollar-denominated securities issued by the issuers
described above.
The 'AAAm' rating signifies an extremely strong capacity to maintain
principal stability and to limit exposure to principal losses due to credit,
market, and/or liquidity risks. To enhance liquidity and diminish sensitivity
to changing interest rates, the portfolios seek to maintain a weighted average
maturity of 60 days or less. We monitor rated money-market fund portfolios
weekly.
