Compustat Xpressfeed provides direct FTP delivery to your server in either XML or ASCII formats. The database is updated daily at the item level to keep you abreast of important market changes. Standard & Poor's also offers an MS-SQL Server Loader for your convenience. The loader–a ready-made relational database with an easy-to-use Windows application–automates the FTP loading and updating of the Compustat data. This tool allows you to focus on using the data, rather than on data delivery and loading, and can be customised for access to all data items or to select data sets. The Library within the Loader provides preset database views, functions and calculations. This add-on component can be installed and used immediately with new or existing subscriptions, saving you months of database development time.
