Emerging Markets Database (S&P EMDB)

S&P Emerging Market Indices divide into two families: S&P/IFCG (Global) represents the markets of 35 countries and is considered a broad market indicator. S&P/IFCI (Investable) is a subset of S&P/IFCG and measures the returns of stocks that are legally and practically available to foreign investors. The same methodology is used across all the indices, allowing apples-to-apples comparisons of markets.

Standard and Poor's also produces the S&P/IFCG Frontier Markets indices which provide monthly returns of 22 equity markets which are small and illiquid, even by emerging market standards. This market is not covered by any other index provider.
