Since 1990, Standard & Poor's Fund Research has provided an unrivalled insight into the performance of the world's leading investment funds by examining not only what managers have achieved, but how. In a rigorous process of qualitative research, analysis and deliberation, managers are assessed on the stability of their parent group, the appropriateness of their investment policies, and the sustainability of their performance.
The Fund Research team of 19 analysts in Europe (45 globally) has an average 16 years’ investment experience and has been together for an average of seven years. We undertake face-to-face interviews with fund managers around the globe, covering over 1,300 funds per year.
Standard and Poor’s Fund Management Ratings enable our customers to gain and retain assets. Our in-depth research is used by government authorities, pension funds, private banks, family offices and other professional advisors as primary and secondary filters in their investment process. Increasingly, our research is being leveraged to create customised fund-of-funds platforms.
Our coverage includes long-only equity, fixed income funds, funds-of-hedge funds and absolute return funds.
