The Citigroup S&P Global STARS Custom Index(Total Return) (the “Index”) is an index developed by Citigroup and Standard & Poor's to provide a research-based equity index which will grant exposure to stocks with high gross profit margins that are at attractive valuations. The index is calculated in U.S. Dollars and Euros on a total return basis and designed to provide equally weighted exposure to the highest ranked stocks in STARS (STock Appreciation Ranking System), Standard & Poor’s global proprietary stock ranking system. The Index consists of 25 stocks with the following allocation per region based on where the primary exchange is located: 10 North American, 10 European and 5 Asian stocks, and is diversified across sectors.
