Update On Post-Default Recovery In Latin America On Sept. 19, 2007, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services introduced its issue rating framework and recovery rating scale for corporate debt issuers in Mexico (please see the articles titled "Introducing Recovery Ratings In Mexico" and "Debt Recovery For Creditors And The Law Of Insolvency In Mexico," both published Sept. 19, 2007, on RatingsDirect, the real-time Web-based source for Standard & Poor's credit ratings, research, and risk analysis). On Sept. 24, 2007, we reviewed insolvency in Chile (see the article, "Debt Recovery For Creditors And The Law Of Insolvency In Chile"), and following the rollout of recovery analytics in Mexico, we will continue to review key jurisdictions in Latin America.
