Standard & Poor's Ratings Services recently hosted a telephone conference to discuss the inflation impact on the Latin America region. Analysts from the U.S. and Latin America offices provided an overview on the impact of increasing inflation on energy, food, and raw materials on corporates and banks across the Latin America region. The LatAm Sovereigns team also provided a brief review of major rating trends in the region as well as discuss the second half of 2008.
