Koch Industries (a private equity firm)has extended its $48.00 cash tender offer to acquire all of GP’s 260.217 million shares to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Monday, Dec. 19, 2005. As a result of the extension, E.W. Scripps Co. will replace Georgia-Pacific after the close of trading on Monday, December 19, 2005.
