Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (Sedol:5501906) is now expected to complete its acquisition of S&P 500 constituent Compass Bancshares SS after the close of trading on Thursday, September 6. As a result, the share change announced on 30 August 2007 will become effective after the close of trading on that date (not Friday 7 September as stated on the original release)
