First Data in the S&P 500

Standard & Poor’s will remove First Data from the S&P 500 Index after tonight’s close of trading. Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (a private equity firm) is expected to complete its acquisition of FDC before tomorrow’s opening of trading.
