TXU was removed from the S&P 500 after this evening’s close of trading, as previously scheduled, regardless of the NYSE’s late decision today to delay TXU’s delisting until after tomorrow’s close of trading. In connection with the TXU removal, S&P MidCap 400 constituent Expeditors International (EXPD) replaced TXU in the S&P 500, and Terra Industries Inc. (TRA) replaced Expeditors International in the S&P MidCap 400.
