In 2005, Standard & Poor's initiated a broader and more formal process for obtaining market feedback on certain major criteria and policy actions. Comments may be sought on proposals to significantly revise existing rating criteria and credit policies, and to introduce new criteria and policies. Investors, issuers, intermediaries and other market participants are encouraged to comment on proposals.
