For securities standardization in global cross-border trading and straight-through-processing (STP), Standard & Poor's, the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA), and Telekurs Financial have created the ANNA Service Bureau.
The ISIN (International Securities Identification Number) is the only certified securities identifier for cross-border transactions. The ANNA Service Bureau acts as a central hub to receive and consolidate ISIN data from the 74 ANNA members. The database contains over 6.4 million ISIN numbers representing over 200 countries.
