A director and analyst for the U.S. based automakers and the team leader for the U.S. Auto Suppliers Group in the Corporate and Government Services Group of Standard & Poor's. Since 2002, Robert has been the team leader for the Auto Suppliers Group and became co-analyst for the U.S. based automakers in 2005. His prior assignments have included being team leader for the Capital Goods group, as well as the New York-based ratings analyst for the railroad, airfreight, ocean shipping, freight forwarding and trucking industries. Before joining Standard & Poor's in 1993, he was a banker with The Chase Manhattan Bank and with The Irving Trust Company. Robert has a B.S. in Finance from George Washington University and an M.B.A. from New York University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Also, Robert served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an FAA-licensed air traffic controller.
