A managing director at Standard & Poor's Structured Finance Ratings Group, Thomas Fritz manages teams that analyze structured asset-backed commercial paper programs as well as letter of credit backed and synthetic securities transactions. Tom had supervised the term commercial assets area prior to his current assignment. He has also served with the London office analyzing pools sold to commercial paper conduits. Tom joined Standard & Poor's in 1987 analyzing letter of credit supported bonds for the Financial Institutions/Structured Finance Group. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and of the Association for Investment Management and Research.
