The S&P Global Natural Resources Index includes 60 of the largest publicly-traded companies in the natural resources and commodities businesses that meet specific investability requirements, offering investors diversified, liquid and investable equity exposure across 3 primary commodity-related sectors: Agribusiness, Energy and Metals & Mining. The Index combines the following indices: S&P Global Natural Resources – Agriculture Index; S&P Global Natural Resources – Energy Index; S&P Global Natural Resources – Metals and Mining Index.
The S&P Global Natural Resources Index is part of the S&P Global Thematic Indices. The series is designed to provide liquid exposure to emerging investment themes that cut across traditional industry definitions.
Index constituents exhibit the following characteristics:
Market Capitalization – A minimum of US$ 1 billion
Liquidity – A six-month average daily trading value greater than US$ 10 million
Listing Venues – Stocks must be trading on a developed stock exchange

Index Governance and Policy
This index is maintained by the S&P Index Committee, whose members include Standard & Poor’s economists and index analysts. It follows a set of published rules and policies that provide the transparent methodology used to maintain the index.
